About IGNA

IGNA is a charitable, non-profit association and is independent of any political agenda. International Gyalwai Nyugu Association (IGNA) is officially established on 2 December 2013. It was founded to enable study, practice and meditation, contained in Jigme Gyalwai Nyugu’s teachings to all whom are interested in working with and developing the positive qualities in their minds, like love, wisdom and compassion.

IGNA’s vision is to preserve and to spread the teachings of Gyalwai Nyugu Rinpoche internationally and to facilitate for as many people as possible the opportunity to learn and to practice within the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and Dzogchen.

IGNA is concerned with the standards of maintaining the purity and integrity of Gyalwai Nyugu Rinpoche’s lineage practices and teachings and any materials related thereto.

In order to bring benefit to as many people as possible, we also offer teachings and activities to a broader audience.

The headquarters of the International Gyalwai Nyugu Association is situated in Gothenburg, Sweden. The headquarter’s task is to coordinate, as well as to provide advice and support to the local centers around the world. The IGNA headquarter manages some central functions and projects which require synergy and keeping of certain standards and policies.DSC00451
